Amuse Tech Solutions Lidar Speed Detector is a device that measures the round-trip time for light to reach a car and reflect, calculating the car’s speed. The advantage of a laser speed gun, especially for law enforcement, lies in its narrow “cone” of emitted light. Even at a range of 1000 feet (about 304.8 m), this cone is only 2.3 feet in diameter, allowing the gun to precisely target a specific vehicle, resulting in remarkable accuracy typically within +/- 1mph.It stands as the pinnacle of speed enforcement tools today—an all-in-one handheld device that combines laser-based speed measurement with video and photo capturing capabilities.
